Dr Cordeiro is a plastic surgeon with special expertise in breast, head and neck reconstruction and microsurgical procedures. He received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School, general surgery training at the Harvard Surgical Service, plastic surgery at NYU and is Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. He holds the William G. Cahan Chair in Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer and was Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2001-2016. Dr Cordeiro has authored more than 300 publications, two books, has served on 8 editorial boards and has delivered over 350 lectures around the world.
