Mr. Hazem Khout has served as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at the Nottingham Breast Institute since 2015. With over 26 years of extensive surgical experience, he specialises in breast oncoplastic surgery, reconstructive procedures, and cosmetic breast surgery. His unwavering dedication to patient-centred care, surgical innovation, and medical education has established him as a leading figure in the field.

Mr. Khout’s distinguished career is marked by advanced surgical training, a prestigious oncoplastic fellowship at the Edinburgh Breast Unit, and a series of key leadership roles. His clinical expertise spans the management of both benign and malignant breast conditions, with a particular focus on complex breast-conserving techniques. He is highly skilled in the use of chest wall perforator flaps, including LICAP, LTAP, TDAP, MICAP, and AICAP, and has significant experience in revisional and aesthetic breast surgery.


Since joining the Nottingham Breast Institute, Mr. Khout has led several innovative initiatives, most notably the establishment of a weekly oncoplastic forum that fosters multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous learning.


In his role as a Professional Clinical Advisor in Breast Surgery for Public Health England, Mr. Khout spent nearly a decade visiting breast units across the country, delivering expert assessments and strategic recommendations to improve clinical outcomes and elevate standards of care.

Beyond his clinical contributions, Mr. Khout is a dedicated educator and mentor. As an Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham, he plays an active role in training future surgeons, advancing medical education, and leading professional development programs.
