We are hosting a screening of award-winning YURLU | COUNTRY. Do not miss this powerful film, directed by Walkley Award-winning filmmaker Yaara Bou Melhem and co-created with Banjima Elder Maitland Parker. This deeply moving film follows his final year as he fights to heal his ancestral lands, scarred by the largest contaminated site in the Southern Hemisphere – Australia’s own Chernobyl.

After sold out film festival screenings, international accolades and winning the 2025 Walkley Documentary award, we are proud to be screening the film as part of the 2027 Congress.

Completion of this activity will be recorded for 2 hours of CPD under ‘Education’. The activity also meets the CAPE requirements for: Cultural Safety, Addressing Health Inequity and Ethical Practice.
